Every Wednesday is "Wednesday's With GiGi" at StoneGable. My son and daughter-in-law's dog Beau comes and spends the day with me!
I love this dog and look forward to a day of going to the dog park, having him tag along right beside me and playing in the backyard! By the end of the day I have "Beau Glow". That's what I call the happiness he spreads! He is just the most fun, aim-to-please dog there is!
Because of Beau we have started to have family dinner night every Wednesday. My kids, and now mom and step-father join us for the evening. What a wonderful way to break up the week and get together! Wednesday's are now my favorite day of the week!

always enjoy your menu ideas, though the desert looks and sounds so
ReplyDeleteeasy. Let me ask this.....why don't you use a wide mouth mason jar
instead of the one you show? it would make it easier to eat out of
with all the goodies you present....
You are so right! I ate that crisp after the photo shoot and it was wonderful... but a little hard to get to . I have a bunch of wide mouth jars in the basement but was too lazy to go down to get them.
DeleteIt all sounds so yummy! I really love family traditions like that ~ especially when they are just easy and relaxed. I'm sure you really enjoy it, Yvonne!
ReplyDeleteLove your zest for the good life Yvonne! You give me energy... Cheryl Ann
ReplyDeleteWhat an aptly named pooch!! He is such a handsome boy!! Was he named after the French word handsome? What a sweetie. The berry crisp in a jar looks fabulous! Thank you for sharing.
