It may not officially be Fall yet, but when Labor Day is over I start to celebrate my favorite season!!!
Also starting this month... I am introducing 'THE BEST OF" series at StoneGable.
Seasons are cycles! One right after the other... returning to the same spot on the calendar each year!
It is such a pity to post seasonal content year after year and then have them go unnoticed... buried deep in the archives...
So, as we start this new Fall cycle... I am bringing you THE BEST OF.. recapturing the beauty and bounty of each month and each season! Here is THE BEST OF SEPTEMBER...
The first sign of fall at StoneGable is a new wreath on the front door! This wreath celebrates the best of fall color! Here's how to make this FALL PUMPKIN WREATH.
If you are like me, when mid September rolls around you are beginning to pull out the summer flowers in your outdoor post and starting to fill them with signs of Fall! My front door and porch are usually the first things transformed with OUTDOOR FALL DECOR!
Not only are most of us planting mums outside.. but inside too! I say... think outside the pot! Give your fall blooms a MUM MAKEOVER!
Here are some helpful tips for making potted mums not only seasonally festive but sensationally fabulous!
Early fall is pear season... soft, perfummy and so juicy! This beautiful CONSTRUCTED PEAR SALAD is one luscious way to use fall pears!
Continuing the pear theme, early fall is the time to set your table with Autumnal hues and lots of layers and textures! PERFECT AUTUMN PAIR-ING TABLESCAPE brings the warmth of Fall to the table!
Fall is the time for another beautiful fruit... APPLES! Did you know that every apple has a different flavor, tartness, sweetness and some are better than others for eating and cooking?
Here is an APPLE PRIMER... a guide to many varieties of apples...
Before you buy another apple find out which one is best !
NO-FAIL CARAMEL APPLES are a yummy fall treat. There is a little secret to keep the caramel from sliding off off the apple!
