Cornerstone from Synagogue, Israel
Welcome to the living Stone, the source of life. The workmen took one look and threw it out; God set it in the place of honor. Present yourselves as a building stone for the construction of the sanctuary vibrant with life, in which you will serve as holy priests offering Christ-approved lives up to God
The Scriptures provide precedent:
Look! I 'm setting a stone in Zion,
a cornerstone in the place of honor.
Whoever trusts in this stone as a foundation
will never have cause to regret it.
1 Peter 2:5-6, The Message

Living a "Christ-approved life" is no easy task. Thankfully, though we fall short, Christ has secured our salvation. Thank you that Scripture is a weekly part of your lovely blog.

ReplyDeleteWell I'm gathering your name is Yvonne, I'm new so I'm just learning all. Thank you for sharing I had bible study this Friday and it was about prayer and how to approach God. Faith is a huge thing, but we must have faith that we exercise or it's of no use. The other is to approach him with great respect because he is the creator of the heavens and the earth the almighty. To draw close to God it's done through prayer..Have a great day..hugs
