Because it is contained in scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief Cornerstone, elect, precious: And he that believes in Him shall not be put to shame. 1Peter 2:6
Dear Yvonne, Thank you for posting this encouraging Scripture, and you chose the perfect image to go with it. Good week to you, Mimi P.S. Hope you received my update email!
Now I have a certain song running through my head...
ReplyDeleteSo glad for the provision of the Cornerstone.
Becky K.
He is the Beginning & the End. Amen!
ReplyDeleteThis post had me looking up the difference between a cornerstone & a keystone (mostly because you live in the state of PA, the *keystone* state)
A Cornerstone (or foundation stone) is the first stone laid when establishing a new structure.(The Beginning)
A Keystone is the architectural piece at the apex of an arch, locking the other pieces into position.(The End)
Just an interesting little corrollation to go along with breakfast. :-)
Amen, Yvonne. I have you have a wonderful and blessed day.
