Hi Yvonne, in your Fall around the Kitchen post, I noticed a black and white braided rug in front of your sink. I love it and have been looking for one like it. Do you have a source you might share for it? I am hooked on your blog and look for it daily - you are such an inspiration. Thank you!

Penny, look at the comments on that post. I answered your question and left a web-site! Hope you find it!
DeleteHi Penny, thanks for the nice comments! I really appreciate them! I got this rug from the OLD MILLHOUSE SHOPPE in Lancaster Pa. Here is the link to their website: http://www.oldemillhouse.com/furniture-rugs/rugs/
ReplyDeleteYou might make out better calling them and explaining to them what you want. I think I paid about $100.00 for it.
Hope this helps.
On last weeks On The Menu post you had the recipe for braised pork chops with rosemary onion sauce. I'm sorry I don't remember the name off hand. I wanted to let you know that we loved them. Thanks for posting it. I will be making them again for company in November.
ReplyDeleteOh I am loving the MORNING COOKIES!!!!! What a great way to start the day and enjoying your blog is another way to start the day and week!!! HAPPY MONDAY!!!! hugs...
ReplyDeleteI think Fall has finally arrived here in Charlotte Yvonne! I raked leaves for over an hour and didn't even break a sweat because the air was so cool and lacking humidity! Yay! Your menu looks wonderful my dear. You always make meals interesting and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of Dutch Babies, but they have my mouth watering! Guess what we are having for breakfast tomorrow?!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog.....thanks so much for all the yummy recipes you share "On the Menu".

Yvonne: Can't wait to try your Nani's cabbage soup.
ReplyDeleteThere was a restaurant when I was younger that made cabbage
soup and it was so delicious.
Have a great week.
Denise
I'm new to your blog and love, love this feature. I'm always on the hunt for new recipes. Being a Pescatarian I won't be making all of them, but certainly a lot of them. First up, the Cabbage Soup and then the a Herbed Salmon Cakes! I love comfort food in the fall. Now if it would just cool down. It's still in the 80's here. Gnashed teeth here :-)
ReplyDeleteOop's I'll be trying to make the Cabbage Soup without the pork chops. I'm sure it won't be nearly as good as Nana's.
DeleteDo you still offer the At Home.com sales?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the painted pumpkin!
