StoneGable's fall header is up! So fall is here in my neck of the woods. Don't you just love the change of seasons. I sure do!
The mornings are crisp now... and I love sitting out on my porch with my morning coffee. Everything smells and feels so fresh! I'm even seeing slight tinges of beautiful reds and oranges in the top of a few of my trees!
The seasons aren't the only things changing around here! My menus are starting to take on the taste of fall too. Oh, we are still grilling... that's an all year around event... and there are still tomatoes on the vine in our garden, but my now my fancy is turning to braising and roasting and stews and heartier meats.
This week if you try one thing it would have to be the SPICY BBQ OVEN RIBS.
These are so easy and fall-off-the-bone succulent!

ReplyDeleteHi Yvonne,
Your Fall header is beautiful.
We're hoping for cooler temperatures in California soon, so that it feels like Fall.
I enjoy "Menu Monday," as it inspires me to plan my meals for the week.
Thanks so much for sharing,
Suzanne
I'm on my way. Sounds delicious!! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your new header, it is beautiful. We are getting a downpour hear today and wearing jackets, fall is definitely near.

Your dinners all sound fantastic. Looking forward
to trying the ribs and the chicken.

Your post resonated - autumn is by far the most fabulous season! I hopped excitedly in the butcher's today looking at all the braising steak and thinking of the rich, unctuous stews to come. I am up to HERE with blimming salad!!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog from Southern Hospitality. What a mistake! (joking) I have pulled up my chair several times since friday and have toured your blog. Forget the work that needed done and all the other daily chores of life, you're home/recipes/blog is just to awesome to leave! ;) I am a fellow Pennsylvanian (Clearfield County). We have often traveled through Lancaster and beautiful territory is just mildly describing the area. My husbands extended family owns a lumberyard business there and he's there usually 1-2 times per week, he loves the area! This ribs look delicious! However, they are going to have to wait until another day because today your Beef Barley soup is on our menu. Thank you for having a blog with such great content.
ReplyDeleteI have been on the "cave man diet" and I am STARVING!
ReplyDeleteI got all my Fall deorating done this weekend and intended to start some posts today but it has been WAY too cloudy for a decent picture:( Now you have me HUNGRY:) Our chicken is marinating for the grill tonight. I LOVE Fall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XOXO
ReplyDeleteThis all sounds so delicious and ribs and asparagus...yum!! Love your header ~
