When I need inspiration... it is easy to find! Pinterest is a non stop source of all things inspiring!
This spring my son Christopher will marry his college best friend, turned girlfriend, now fiance'...Abigail. They are so perfect for each other. I know this is said often of a couple, but this is the M-O-T-H-E-R who is saying it... and the young engaged man is her B-A-B-Y!!!!! They really are a special couple!
We couldn't be happier! The wedding and reception will take place in Florida... and we will have another reception for the newlyweds here. Here as in "StoneGable" here. YIKES!

Christopher wants the reception to be at "home". He could not imagine a reception being anywhere else. It pleases my heart that he has such a deep love for StoneGable.
An early summer reception means lots of gathering ideas and inspiration to give them the CASUAL COUNTRY reception they are dreaming about!
Thank goodness for pinterest!
Here are some pins that would work well for Christopher and Abigail's Casual Country reception...

ReplyDeleteNow I have 112 pretty white Pflatzgraff dishes, brand new! You are welcome to use them!
Even if it is causal and outdoors, it is always nice to have real plates and utensils.
Too bad we don't live closer, I have so many things from my catering days that would come in handy.
When my son got married, we had the day after festivities planned for here, but we had torrential rain the whole weekend, ruined all my grand plans. God does not change the weather for us, lol.
Wow, what fun and beautiful inspiration! When my daughter got engaged we found no shortage of inspiration on wedding sites (Style Me Pretty, etc) and magazines, but it's also how I first discovered Pinterest! The REAL challenge is making CHOICES from all the fabulous inspiration! Your son and fiance are a gorgeous young couple and I know you will make a beautiful reception to celebrate their new life together! All the best to your family!
