The change in each season brings a change of dishes in my cupboard.
White dishes and some of my silver find a temporary home in the little-built in cupboard. I think white and silver look stunning together.
Add a bunch of white tulips, some nest and pastel eggs ~ and it becomes Spring!
What makes this arrangement so unusual for me... I didn't polish my silver. It doesn't have too much of a patina, but I usually would never put it out unpolished.
There are little eggs and nest tucked here...
And there...
Birds and Bunnies find a place in the little Spring cupboard!
Spring is coming... slowly... to StoneGable.
The silver and white are so lovely. I think that the shape of your cupboard adds a lot to the beauty of the arrangement.

I am taking notes on it since I want to do the same kind of things on top of my cupboards. Now to go shopping!

Your corner cabinet looks great with all the touches of Spring. Of all the places in my home that I change out with the seasons, my corner cabinet isn't one. I've got to give that some thought. Love the soft color of the eggs and the mix with the silver.

ReplyDeleteHi Yvonne! What a beautiful cupboard vignette! Just beautiful! I love the combination of textures and colors! May I ask where you got those adorable eggs? I've been looking for some. :)
ReplyDeletexoxo laurie
Yvonne, inspirational as always! Whenever I use my seasonal dishes to decorate a shelf or cupboard, and then decide to use them for a tablescape for company, I always struggle with how to handle that. I was wondering what you do in those instances? Do you re-decorate the cupboard, or just re-arrange the pieces that are left? Or do you leave it bare? I would love to hear from you. Thanks, Shae
ReplyDeleteSuch a breath of spring air! Lovely!

Simply gorgeous as always. Welcome back.
ReplyDeleteI was feeling quite sorry for myself having to get rid of my Christmas/Winter/Olympic theme. (Black/White/Cream/Green with a touch of red during the Olympics). I enjoyed all my arrangements and vignettes. I couldn't imagine what I could possibly put up that would be as good when your post came across my wall. TA-DUM!! There was my answer! Silver. I normally never polish my silver as the patina is perfect for Halloween which is the only time it comes out. Thanks for the inspiration!
