CELEBRATING SUMMER FOOD IN A JAR

Summer food and Mason jars are a culinary match made in heaven!

Let's be honest, anything in a Mason jar is usually fabulous and feels very special. Now that summer is here, it's time for our taste buds to turn to farm fresh foods and simple recipes.

Here is a collection of my favorite StoneGable summer foods in a jar just in time for Memorial Day weekend...

Bring out your patriotic side by making these yummy Cherry Pies In Jars With Stars!

Make your favorite Chili recipe with lots of garden veggies and top it with Cornbread... AMAZING!

These pickles are sooooo easy to make and would be perfect to pack in a picnic basket!

Strawberries, shortcake and fresh whipped cream... need I say more?

Portable salads... a great idea and so yummy!

Oh my, this is a winner! Make the crisp up ahead and keep it in the freezer... and make the berry filling and keep it in the frig! WARNING...this berry crisp does not last long!!!!!

Pasta salad in a jar... how cute and delicious!

This is the recipe that started my Mason jar obsession!!!

I hope you try at least one of these summery good recipes in a jar while the weather is hot and the produce is right from the garden or farm!
