I know I should be blogging about Christmas things... Christmas trees and menus and gift wrapping and decorating and fun Christmas stories...
BUT, I've gone a little wild and I am so excited about it...

I know it might not be everybody's cup of tea, but I am wild about the new zebra hide rug I got from Overstocks.com!
It's a real cow hide with hand painted and positioned zebra stripes! And, it easily passes for the real deal!
I think the rug is a classic and adds a bit of sass to my living room!
The "before" rug is now in the foyer! I'll show you that after Christmas.
After looking at these images I may off-center the rug a little.
Decorating with animal prints keeps things interesting!

Love that animal,accent. It really brings life into the room. I added two zebra striped chairs to my dining table. It was a bold move but I love them!

The rug is definitely fun....but think I might like it under your kitchen table as I really loved the one you had in the living room! But definitely a keeper.....I love some animal print in some fashion somewhere!

I am so thrilled you changed that rug, it was so dark, the new one is so perfect with the dark and light, love all the new arrangements and the little less on the tables....everything looks wonderful, you should be thrilled, I love it all...The room just sings,,,ahhhhhh
ReplyDeleteOkay, you may have pushed me to the wild side with this rug. I've recently realized I have a touch of cheetah or leopard in every room except my foyer. Wouldn't the spotted, not striped, version of your rug look great there? Thanks for saying how much you liked the painted cowhide version as that's what I've been considering for myself.
