ON THE MENU MONDAY~ FORTH OF JULY WEEK 2013

Happy 4th of July Week!!!!
There is lots of grilling on the menu at StoneGable this week... and garden fresh veggies too!

I'm always on the lookout for zucchini recipes that do not have the words "bread" or "cake" in them. I'm sharing two of my very favorite zuke recipes this week. YUMMY...

If you try one thing from this week's menu it has to be the grilled veggies with balsamic dressing. It is my family's favorite way to eat veggies!!!! Sooooo good.

Remember I have retired the ON THE MENU linky party... but you can still link up any recipes at
TUTORIALS TIPS AND TIDBITS, right here every Wednesday night at 8:00 pm.

Now here's what's ON THE MENU...

MONDAY
Crusty Garlic Bread
Garden Salad with PARMESAN PEPPERCORN DRESSING

TUESDAY
Tomato And Pesto Salad

WEDNESDAY
Grilled Italian Sausages

INDEPENDENCE DAY

FRIDAY~ FAMILY DINNER
Spicy Oven Baby Back Ribs
(upcoming post of Friday)

SATURDAY

SUNDAY

  1. Yvonne: As usual everything sounds so delicious.
I made the magic rub yesterday and used it on boneless
pork chops this evening. Everyone loved them. This is
    definitely a rub to keep.
Want to try the flat iron steak rollups. Can I cook them
on the grill if I cook the bacon first. They just sound
so delicious. Wish we had nice ripe tomatoes to make
the tomatot caprese towers. They will have to wait until
we get some garden ripe tomaotes later in July.

    Have a great week.

    1. Denise, I think grilling them would be okay if you cooked the bacon first. Thanks for letting me know about the rub!

  5. I always enjoy reading your recipes and menu plans, even if as a vegetarian I can't eat them! I do, though, look at them with an eye to adapting them to my meatless kitchen. Always on the look out for things to do with courgettes (zucchini) as I generally have way more than I can cope with, even more than I can give away!
Wishing you and your family a Happy Fourth of July!
