This week I had a biopsy of my thumb nail bed (no worries) so my left hand was a little out of commission!
I was not able to cook or use my hand very well.
The recipe I planned to make and post could not be done and the silver spoon garden markers did not get finished! What's a blogger to do when her best laid posting plans go awry... Write about yourself!!! YIKES!

ReplyDeleteWe are in the middle of getting our Caleb to graduate from highschool and go to the Philippines, our Laurissa ready to teach in Kazakhstan and then her wedding shortly after she returns...but I will still be checking in for recipe ideas that are easy peasy, fun and fresh! I am so thankful you are back. We all missed you. Love to YOU, sweet bloggy friend.
Read your blog every week even if I no longer blog myself. Daughter had the same biop on her nail two years ago so I know it hurts. She has recheck this month. I was at the skin Dr. And had nail polish on so she shows me a photo of nail beds and I remark it looks like daughters. She had daughter come in immediately. Photo saved my daughters life! Hope your finger feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteYvonne, I love this breakfast cookie and milk pic! That bottle is great! Thank you for hosting! Hope you test come out well!!
ReplyDeleteSherry

Miz Helen
lovely post and I enjoy trying new recipes. I would like to learn how to make a blog , post pictures etc. I have a yard in bloom and we have done some major changes. What a transformation my neighbor calls our yard. We lived here 30 yrs. before we went more modern and open. We tore out the front yard area and took down the front entry privacy fences and opened the whole yard. It was that way when we bought the home and when the posts rotted we just put up new posts. for some reason I wanted it open. We removed two trees ( not by choice I backed over thenm) but looks nicer without . Our neighbor came over and said he had huge rocks and we had one he gave us that has a peak and stand upright. it is about two feet plus. To buy those rocks it is a costly adventure. I put new electric yard lights in and a spot light against the rock. planted variagated grass in front of it. My daughter gave me all her teak patio furniture. I put the love seat in the new front yard by our Cheroke pink Dogwood tree that is 34 yrs. old. Our home is 50 yrs old. The back yard is large compared to homes today. A lot of work we are Senior citizens. The back yard has a pond we put in years ago. We have 10 goldfish and one cat fish. thank you for all your posts/ recipes.
