Sunday Scripture, November 21, 2010

Ruins of a Synagogue, Galilee Israel

Enter His Gates with thanksgiving,
And His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him: bless His name.

For the Lord is good;
His lovingkindness is everlasting,
And His faithfulness to all generations.
Ps 100:4-5

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, that surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your heart and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

  2. I enjoy your pictures from the Holy Land and they cause me to reflect. Scripture is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path that is alway relevant and needed to nourish us. Thank you for sharing each Sunday.

  4. One of my favorite Scripture verses...and one of the first I memorized as a new Christian back in the early 90's.

    Thanks for your sweet comment about my oldie movie "reviews." I absolutely LOVE classic movies, and I could talk about them forever (and classic actors and actresses). Most of the people in my life, however, aren't overly interested in them, so it's always nice to know that some of my blog readers are enjoying them.

    Have a lovely day.

    Love,
    Patti

  5. Yvonne-Thanks for your sweet comments on my last post. This has been a tough week, and yet, I know you are right about the celestial air and I know God will work all things out for His purpose. For THAT I am thankful!
