The Old Luckett's Store
There are those unique places that we find in life that draw us in and spark our imaginations. For me, Luckett's Store near Leesburg Virginia is one of those places!
I want to take you on a field trip to Luckett's. I love to just browse... creativity and inspiration are free! Browse through the pictures and see what wonderful ideas and imaginations you will wrap up and take away from your visit!

Luckett's is filled to the brim with a combination of vintage, junktiques and new beauties.
It feels a little french... a bit more shabby and unkempt~ like an attic overflowing with undiscovered treasures!
The store boasts room after cluttered room of both old and new merchandise. Luckett's encompasses many outbuildings and a design house too.

Every nook and cranny from ceiling to floor is filled with reasonably priced goodies!
Amidst all the well designed chaos was this soothing wall of silver. I have a huge crush on all silver... it was so hard to only take a few home with me!
Well worth the trip, I usually leave Luckett's with a mammoth case of sensory overload and my head exploding with creative ideas and projects! Doesn't that sound like the perfect day?
WONDERFUL!!!!!!I could not tell which part I liked best.Everything is Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

What an extraordinary shop! Did you just want to scoop everything up and bring it home? LOL! Thanks for letting us tag along.:)
ReplyDeleteYvonne, thanks for taking us along to Luckett's. It is definitely a wonderful place to shop and one from which loads of inspiration can be absorbed. Beautiful! ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteThis is one of those places that makes me want to throw everything away and start over again...all white and shabby! I must say that I did see many things that I could work into my "brown" decor!
ReplyDeleteI've heard of Luckett's before but never been to shop there. Thanks for the delightful tour.
ReplyDeleteI get a kick out of seeing things that I've owned for years being referred to as "vintage" or "collectables". Does that means I'm getting old?
Please tell me you bought some of the bee napkins to go with "our" silverware???!!!
Hugs,
Rett
I'd be in trouble there! Thanks for taking us along!
ReplyDeleteYvonne: This is a beautiful reminder of coming home for me. I've been to Luckett's --every October, I travel to my hometown of Roanoke and later drive up through the valley to D.C.. Your photos are wonderful. I see a number of things I want!!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
OOOH, we had a very similar shop near our old home in NY- dangerous territory for me! Beautiful goods!

ReplyDeleteI need a trip to Virginia when the leaves change so I can go shopping there. Love that silver pattern on the flatware. I was looking for some silver today, but nothing good around here. Thanks for sharing this outing with us.
ReplyDeleteUh oh! That looks like a very dangerous place! Do they take credit cards? :)
ReplyDeleteI feel a shopping trip with The Tablescaper coming on!
Hi Yvonne,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great store, I'll take one of those and that and that. Lucky for my pocketbook it is too far away. But maybe they have a website????? Hmmmm!

I even like the name of this store! Looks like a wonderful place to shop. There is a painted grey basket in the first photos with a plant in it that looks almost like the one I just posted about that I bought for a friend. Love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely store! My husband travels to Richmond a lot. I need to find out if this town is anywhere near there. I just might have to take a trip with him and visit it. Carla
ReplyDeleteThank you for the great tour! This is my kind of store :)

ReplyDeleteI wanna go..I wanna go..I wanna go...I feel like my little 3 year old SweetCheeks here when she begs to go someplace! I think I would have a hard time leaving once I got there. I love the blue cupboard and the love seat with the "written" fabric. Very, very cool! Diana
ReplyDeleteWhat beauty all over that store! Those slipcovered chairs are unbelivably gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteOh now this is a store that would get me into serious trouble. Loved the tour. Such pretty things. I love it all. Hugs, Marty

Dang, I was just in Virginia a couple of weeks ago, I would love to have spent some time enjoying all the treasures in this beautiful mercantile. Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHello sweet Yvonne! Oh MY GOSH-- that indeed would be a VERY dangerous place for me to visit. I see so many irresistible goodies. :D
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing Luckett's Store with us! Great photos! (I think I've told you that a few times before, haven't I?!) *grin*
It's always a treat to come visit your gorgeous blog. ((hugs)) ~m.
What a beautiful store in which to browse away the afternoon...I'm pretty sure it would take several hours to go through multiple rooms filled with lovely treasures. No quick "in and out in thirty minutes" kind of place.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you always take such lovely photos!!
Blessings on your day,
Patti
Yvonne, thanks so much for this WONDERFUL, virtual tour! I want to go in REAL time now:):) I adore the silver you showed, is that the pattern you bought????? It is GORGEOUS!!!! I saw so many things that I would have wanted to buy! I hope I get to go there one day. I can't wait to see what Luckett's inspires you to do!!!!!!!!!! I know it will be fabulous!!!!! XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat place - those egg prints are completely right up my alley!!

I'm popping over here from Low Tide High Style. It's nice to see someone else who lives nearby. I've been shopping at Lucketts for as long as I can remember. It's a rare trip that I don't come home with at least one wonderful treasure in the car to take home. My most recent is a chippy white step-back cupboard that is perfect for my almost-finished bathroom renovation.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say HI. I'm off to read some more of your blog.
Connie
Oh my goodness!!!!! My hubby has relatives back there - I cannot forget to go t this place. It could be trouble - I'd have to rent a truck to get it all home. I see so many delightful items that I fancy!
ReplyDeleteLuckett's looks like my kind of store! The blue walls really showcase all the treasures. Like Holly said, you would have to rent a truck to bring all those goodies home!
ReplyDeleteHope you found something you loved!
Enjoy,
Mimi
(I really really want that fabric with the writing.... where can I get it???
ReplyDeleteAaaahhh...this is one of my most favorite places to shop! I have purchased many beautiful things there!
ReplyDeleteI was just @Lucketts this past Sunday afternoon! Beekeepers Cottage is another dreamy place to shop!
