Then Moses said, "I pray Thee show me Thy glory!"
And God said, "I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the Lord before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion on whom I will show compassion."
Then the Lord said, "Behold there is a place with Me , and you shall stand there on the rock; and it will come about, while My Glory is passing by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by.
Then I will take My hand away and you shall see My back, but My face shall not be seen.
Lord, Hide me in the cleft of Your Rock. Let me see Your Glory!
Oh to be in the presence of God!

I'm watching all the flooding around me. Our church is closed this morning due to so many flooded roads. I've never seen anything like it here. All the while I am happy to be safe in the cleft of the Rock.

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite passages in the Bible. I pray to see the glory of God all around me every day. I love how he places Moses in the cleft of the rock to protect him. I want to be under God's protection at all times. Carla
