The living room is within a month of being finished! Finally!!!!
I have a big hutch on the side of the room not seen that needs to be painted and loved and sanded and waxed and stenciled! I can't wait to get my hands on that project!
My most recent project was very small compared to the one ahead of me... I added 3 botanical pictures to my living room ...
I found these light colored botanical prints at VINTAGE PRINTABLES. They have so many very interesting prints!
The frames were 50% off at AC Moore.
The tray in the corner is called into use as an end table for any of my chairs when needed.
I wanted something that brought some interest to the wall, but did not overwhelm it.
Now that the botanical pictures are hung I think I'll change the white mat... maybe a soft neutral linen or burlap. But they are okay for now.
Do you like Botanicals too?

ReplyDeleteLove your chairs. Are they new? What color paint are your walls? They look like a buttery yellow. How about a soft sage green for your botanical mat?
ReplyDeleteI love botanicals, Yvonne. Yours are so pretty and just right for your room!
ReplyDeleteLove your idea of changing the mattes to burlap or linen. I would never think of such an unexpected trim to these prints.
ReplyDeleteI have a three botanical prints in my dining room that I bought at a consignment shop - they are one of my favourite things in that room.

They're beautiful as is, but I agree a linen or light burlap will add some texture and compliment the room perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI have botanicals in our bedroom which I added a little over a year ago. Since then I added a fern bedspread and most recently paper sconces I made with ferns on them. Funny how one thing leads to another and before you know it you've got a theme happening.
(Thanks for visiting and no, I won't be attending Haven this year but I will be there in spirit!)
I love the botanicals and just bought 4 pretty navy/white shell prints from Birch Lane but I kept going back to the botanicals! So pretty! Can you tell me where you got your cowhide rug from? I'm on a search and I must have one! Do you love it? Are there any cons to having one? Sorry so many ?'s lol xo, Kathy@The Daily Nest
