Your shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself an idol or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.
You shall not worship or serve them: for I , the LORD your GOD am a jealous (Hebrew translation- expects fidelity like one married) God visiting iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me,
but showing lovingkindness (covenant word) to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.

ReplyDeleteI hate the way people say "Oh my God" so casually these days, in response to almost anything. I frequently correct my grands & have tried to teach them that "Oh my gosh" is much nicer to say.

Israel is best place in my list also, I never visited there. I really like that Scripture, Well, I like the great photos from various places in Israel.
