  4. Yvonne, I am saying a big prayer for all of you. Your son looks very healthy, and I bet he comes through with flying colors. My son was in 8th grade when he was diagnosed with Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE). A ball joint disorder in the hip. It occurs in adolescent boys who experience a quick growth spurt. He now has two pins in his hip, and does very well. He is a firefighter for the City of Newport News, VA and a team leader for physical fitness within the department. I have your son on my list of prayers!

  13. Definitely praying for Christopher and the rest of the family through this stressful time. I know you are beside yourself with worry, but I trust through God, family support and his own strength, he'll have a stellar recovery and will soon be pain free.

I'm going to miss seeing you and all the other wonderful ladies at Haven (couldn't swing it this year with a family wedding the same weekend). Wish I could be there to hug your neck and wish you happy birthday in person.
