ON THE MENU MONDAY~ Week Of September 10, 2012

I am such a seasonal cook! How about you? Here at StoneGable, we have turned over a new leaf.... a fall leaf.... and my menu reflects the flavors and tastes of my favorite season.

I'm not only cooking up warm savories for our tummies, but lots of simmering potpourri filled with cinnamon, cloves and vanilla to make StoneGable smell like Autumn too! To learn how I make my potpourri (my Christmas version~ added oranges and star anise) click HERE... and look for an upcoming post about my fall version...

Did you notice my new fall header? It's full of Autumnal colors and elements! How could you miss it.. it's so big and bold. It seems the trend these days, blogs  have lots of white space and very minimal photos....great for them...but that is NOT StoneGable! I'm staying true to my own style and voice... lots of pictures... lots of color... and big!

Julie at BLOGGER BOUTIQUE made it happen! Thanks, Julie!

  22. Hi, I hope you had a great weekend. Yes I love to cook seasonally too and only cook what I can find on offer usually.

This week I've shared a healthy gluten free quinoa green smoothie that you can actually make a meal of.

I've also shared the final results of my challenge where I just drank green smoothies all week, and what an amazing detox that was.

I've shared an easy version of Cherries Jubilee, served over toast rather than the traditional ice cream. Hope you have a wonderful week and thanks for hosting.

  34. Healthy eating is not about strict nutrition philosophies, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. Rather, it’s about feeling great, having more energy, stabilizing your mood, Bicalutamide and keeping yourself as healthy as possible– all of which can be achieved by learning some nutrition basics and using them in a way that works for you.
