CHRISTMAS IN JULY BLOG PARTY

Did you know that there are only 157 days until Christmas!

Why am I thinking of Christmas when most of the country is sweltering in a heat wave? It is hard to Fa-La-La and Deck The Halls while working on our tans or watering the garden...

But you all know how CHRISTMAS can sneak up on us! If you are like me, every year we promise that THIS will be the year to do all those fun, festive projects... baking cookies, making homemade gifts, getting out our Christmas cards on time (maybe even making them!), and decorating our homes till they shine with Christmas joy!

And most of the time the fun extras don't get done... and  why? We all run out of time!

But not this year! I am getting a head start... getting lots of inspiration, ideas and momentum!

  4. I am confused! Do we link up each day with the specific subject? Then what do we link on Friday?

  6. What a great idea. I see so many holiday posts (Thanksgiving,Christmas,Halloween) two to three weeks before the date, right when I am up to eyeballs in other stuff. I love that you are doing this early. Gives us time to plan without panicking.

  7. Yvonne,
Great inspirational idea! We'll be hosting Christmas 2012 On Crooked Creek and I've already begun drawing out the vignettes (on paper) of each area of display!!! Christmas is my favorite holiday E V E R...our Saviors birth, my birthday...and Christmas with family, friends and a week of holy activities @ Worship...oh, and then there's the music and the cookies...guess you get my drift, huh??? Of course, I'll be back...with bells on! Ha!
    Fondly,
    Pat
