ON THE MENU MONDAY~ WEEK OF JUNE 18, 2012

Happy Father's Day to all Dads!

Please indulge me...

A big lovey shout-out to my husband Bobby... you are a wonderful Dad! Thank you for all the years of coaching football and baseball, paying for and sitting through years and years of dance lessons and ballet recitals (and even being in one!), for years of being our children's biggest cheerleader. Thank you for being our daughter's first love, or son's first hero and my rock! Thank you for teaching and healing and disciplining, and training and loving and sacrificing!  Thank you for saying yes way more than no, for being such a fun guy, and for striving to be a godly man and one we can look up to and be proud of.  We love and respect you...You are the best!

  10. Thanks for the invite to this party and for sharing your wonderful recipes. I really want to try the pinwheel flank steaks. I've always wanted to do the caprese salad as a stacker/tower, but I never have. I need to. That's almost too pretty to eat.

  13. What a lovely tribute to your husband. Your weekly menu always sounds delicious. Thanks for hosting this for us. I look forward to your tutorials also.

I've brought Cornish Hens with mustard & herbs with a simple pan sauce - a French classic that is easy and can be served hot or at room temperature.

  18. Yvonne - loved the scripture that went with this posting and the wishes for our Heavenly Father. I am headed to your part of the world in the next three weeks and have been going through all of your postings - trying to find the names of Shops in your area that have been mentioned in your Blog. My sister and I will be going antiquing. I have what I call my inspiration book with photos of all of your beautiful tablescapes printed out. We are also headed to Brimfield Massachusetts for their three day show, Verona Virginia for the antique shops and hopefully find our way back to the Carolinas to Replacements LTD. - know that you will be with us on this trip. Blessings - in his precious name! Vanessa
