While a heatwave is gripping most of the country I thought I help cool you off with some images of one of my favorite spots...
Tucked deep in a sylvan glen of LaDew Gardens is the WHITE GARDEN... It's plants lush and dripping with white flowers. In the center of the garden is this spectacular fountain.
A little boy and his swan have been captured in a graceful and sweetly innocent pose! It is one of my favorites to photograph!
He shields his face and the water splashes around him.
The back of this fountain is as beautiful as the front. The swans wing spreads out across the boy.
What a beautiful garden to beat the heat!
Keep Cool!
AAAAAaaaaaahhhhh.....
ReplyDeleteOooooooooohhhhhhhh...so very nice!
ReplyDeletePretty! I am staying cool inside and under a fan!
ReplyDeleteI would love to be able to splash about, but I am staying in the a/c. xo
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. It was unbearable for us today. I never experience such heat in my life.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, though San Francisco has been ugly cool for the last two days we even had a strong drizzle the other morning ...who knows...stay cool...have a great Sunday...with love Janice
ReplyDeleteI can see why this is one of your favorite spots. I am feeling cooler already :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this lovely and tranquil garden. I feel cooler already.♥
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yesterday was HOT and when Tracy and I got to her new house there was no electric, from the storms:( But they are IN, and we had a LONG day. Going back today and Mon. and Tues. probably. XOXO
ReplyDeleteGorgeous garden...!!!....I was complaining about the heat yesterday...however, after talking to my friend in Colorado, I felt that I had nothing to complain about...it put so much into perspective...I just think about all those brave firefighters battling the awful fires out there...!....Thanks for the gorgeous photos of one of your favorite places...I could definitely see why it is one of your favorites.
ReplyDeleteYvonne,
ReplyDeleteSuch a tranquil place. Water fountains soothe the tired soul and renew us with such freshness! Ah~h~h...just what I needed, dear friend! Thanks!
Fondly,
Pat
