Sunday Scripture: October 24, 2010

                                                                                                                                                                                       Negev, Israel

As the deer pants for the the water brooks,
So my soul pants after You, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God:
When shall I come and appear before God?
                                                                                                                   Psalm 42: 1-2

                                                                                                 Negev, Israel

  2. I think this week the photos are almost as much scripture as the words. They just take your breath away. Of course the words say it all. Have a wonderful day.

  3. Beautiful scripture (a favorite of mine) and photos. I just wanted to let you know that the early edition of Crock Pot Wednesday Mister Linky is up already. I thought it best to get an early start to a busy week. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

  4. When I see that deer I'm reminded of our vulnerability and complete dependance on God--how thankful I am that He is so loving and merciful!

  5. When I saw the deer, I immediately thought, "now how did he get into this predicament?" LOL I ask myself that very question so many times! I need to depend on God more!

Thanks for your Sunday scriptures, Yvonne. They are always very thought provoking.

  6. I absolutely love that scripture and the song. My daughter was married this June and that is the song she chose for me to walk in with. I was so happy and honored. She knew I loved it. Those pictures were so calming and stunning. How beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing a lovely Sunday post.
