Sunday Scripture

 Sunday Scripture:

Jezerel Valley, Israel

The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field which a man found and hid; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys the field.  (Parable of the worth of the kingdom) Matt 13:44

  4. What a gorgeous view! Amazing what the hand of God has made!

Hope you're having a Blessed Sunday...we are. DH is feeling better & thus, so am I. We had a rough week starting with him having to leave church last week due to a low blood sugar, followed by kidney stones in the night & then tons of phone calls to get doctor appointments & meds.
Praying this next week is better for all.

    fondly,
    Rett

  7. Gorgeous photo. And I'm trying to get my head around the quote... it's not one I've heard before, and it seems a bit strange to have a parable where the metaphor seems to be about someone being quite greedy/selfish. Am I missing the point...?
